Meredith Reese
Chief Operating Officer
Meredith Reese, chief operating officer, has been with Vista Maria since July 2003. In her role, she is responsible for the overall development, planning, implementation and evaluation of agency programs and services.
Meredith holds a certification in integrated behavioral health and primary care with a focus on pediatrics, and she has 20 years of extensive experience in mental health, trauma and adolescent development. She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy and is a licensed professional counselor.
In addition, Meredith is a featured speaker, presenter and trainer on topics related to human trafficking and trauma. She is an active member and board member of the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force and serves as chair of the Southeastern Division. Meredith raises awareness and stands against human trafficking through community advocacy and presentations.
In 2014, Meredith received the Department of Health and Human Services Best Practice Award for her work and dedication to the anti-trafficking movement.
