Support for youth and families who have had contact with the court system
InSight Youth and Family Connections is a Care Management Organization (CMO) for Wayne County Health, Human, and Veterans Services. We support youth and families in Northwest Detroit and Dearborn Heights who have had contact with the court system. Our services include supervision, treatment, and case management through referrals to residential and community-based programs, Medicaid enrollment for out-of-home placements, progress monitoring, and court representation. We help families navigate complex systems and provide the support needed for young people to build successful futures.
Care Management Organization: Juvenile Justice Services
We understand the challenges young people face in the juvenile justice system and how to advocate for their future. Our team supports youth and families by helping them navigate the system, ensuring they understand their rights, and connecting them to resources that build on their strengths. We also work with justice officials and service organizations to promote effective strategies for success.
School Engagement: Check and Connect Model
We use evidence-based interventions to support students struggling in school. Through the Check & Connect model, students build relationships with a specialist who helps address low academic performance, truancy, suspensions, and school enrollment challenges. This approach fosters problem-solving skills and long-term engagement in education. Learn More
Workforce Development & After School Programming: Journey to Success
We collaborate with youth, families, educators, and community partners to create stronger futures. Our Journey to Success program provides job readiness training, career pathways, DREAM mentoring, and after-school programming to help young people prepare for the workforce and adulthood. Learn More
Strengthening Families
We believe every family should have access to effective resources. Our Strengthening Families Program teaches life skills that have been used in 36 countries for over 30 years with proven results. Families who participate report improved relationships, better emotional resilience, and children who are more likely to remain alcohol- and drug-free. Learn More
